Depart from your hotel for a tour to visit the famous Derinkuyu Underground City which is the biggest and deepest underground city in Cappadocia. There are eight floors that extend at a depth of approximately 85 metres. Afterwards, hike through the green Ihlara Valley along the stream visiting some of the churches along the way. It is believed that the valley housed more than four thousand dwellings and a hundred cave churches decorated with frescoes. Around eighty thousand people once lived in the Ihlara Valley. Stop in Belisirma for lunch and then on to Selime for a panoramic view of the area. A stop at the Agzikarahan Caravansarai is also included, which is the most beautiful and largest Seljuk caravanserai situated on the Konya-Aksaray highway. It was a very important place for the Seljuk rulers of Anatolia to trade. They deveopled the old trade routes, and built Caravansaries along the way to act as shelters and provide protection to traders. Pick up and drop off at your hotel is included in the tour.
